FLY Yoga

Barefoot Camps: next camp begins Jan 5th 2009

Participants meet Mondays and Thursdays 6-7am over a four week program and work together on functional training, balance training, strengthening, deep stretching, fostering a personal yoga practice, and deep relaxation techniques to help the body mind and spirit FLY.

Mamaste: Baby & Mommy: next sessions begins January 6th

Tuesdays 11:45-12:45pm for four weeks. Enjoy the company of other new mommies and their babes as we reconnect with our bodies post-partum, working towards strengthening the key muscle groups weakened in the childbearing year (abs, low back, pelvic floor) and stretch the muscles strained most in pregnancy and new motherhood (upper back, shoulders, chest). This is a safe space for new moms to share their experiences of motherhood, to take care of themselves and their babies, and to build a community and network to make their journeying into motherhood an uplifting and empowering experience.

Learning to FLY- kidsYoga & kidsFit:

Using yoga postures, we will turn our bodies into animals, objects of nature, and wacky shapes. We'll tell wild tales-traditional and magical and have a ton of fun! Class is 45 minutesand meets once a week for 4 week period. Kids will jump and stretch, strengthen and tone and learn how fitness can be an enjoyable life long activity.
